Touja™ is an Italic font. With its open shapes in the lower case characters such as 'o' and 'e' it looks like a hybrid between a brush, a stencil and a script font. This is also the difference between both of the cases: the caps all have closed shapes. Touja™'s individual letters command ample width which gives it the appearance of an extended style. Touja™ has its origins in an East German rubber stamp font of the 1950ies. It's great as a poster and headline font and sits extremely well with illustrations. It's got that slightly quirky charm of the 50ies without feeling quaint. Touja™ comes in Sans and Slab, each in four weights with additional Old Style and lining figures as well as expert sets.
